eMcREY unveils new branding at Seamless Payments Middle East

eMcREY was present this year at Seamless Payments Middle East at the Dubai International Convention Centre, where eMcREY’s new-look exhibition stand was bearing the company’s fresh branding. The key event in the local payments industry calendar attracts more than 10,000 visitors each year and brings together innovators in payments and commerce, along with senior executives from banks, retailers and the government sector. This was the ideal opportunity for eMcREY, along with its major global partners, to showcase its perspective on the future of payments innovation.

“Technology is moving faster than ever before, so there was a real buzz at this year’s show,” said eMcREY CEO, Mona Yahchouchi. “We have exciting things to talk about with our clients and we wanted our new branding to convey a sense of dynamic evolution. We are building on strong relationships with some of the world’s best technology companies and that level of experience and expertise is important. However, as an industry we are also embracing new ways of helping clients respond to rapid market changes. It felt like a good time to update our corporate identity to reflect this evolution and our new website will follow shortly.”

The event coincided with a report by RBR, which forecast continued strong growth in card-based payments in the Middle East and Africa. According to RBR, the number of cards in issue in the region increased by 13% to 611 million in 2015.
